Rah Davis
BluLight Executive Producer
Rah Davis is an American writer, film producer, and director. Hailing from South Central Los Angeles, he brings a dynamic authenticity to every project he touches. “Creative Alchemy” is his mantra, the seemingly magical process of transforming one’s vision into reality through creativity and collaboration. He is currently Executive Producing the film, “Pick Me Last,” curated from the esteemed La Jolla Playhouse and playwright, Idris Goodwin. Rah has developed and produced three television shows, some of which have aired on streaming platforms, Amazon Prime and Tubi. Rah is currently developing two very timely and relevant documentaries that are scheduled to be released late 2021. He has written and produced over two dozen commercials. In addition to the aforementioned credits, Rah has produced projects with companies such as Airbnb Experiences, Nike Global Master Trainer, Habitat for Humanity, and famed Australian band, Tame Impala. He has also written and produced several commercial projects for America's largest Single Parents Alliance. As a cumulative result of the various projects Rah has taken on in the past years, give him an unmatched breadth of experience in both film and video production.
Anthony Alegrete
BluLight Producer/Production Manager
Anthony Alegrete is a highly motivated producer, writer, and marketing professional with over 20 years of experience who comes fully equipped with an innovative spirit and proven track record of successful integration and synergy of social media marketing and overall business acumen. He graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in 2013 with a bachelor’s in business marketing and has gone on to help launch successful businesses including Blulight Films. In addition, to most recently acquiring a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2018. Mr. Alegrete has worked in many capacities of the film industry, from production management and producing, to budgeting and distribution. He has worked on projects for companies like Budweiser, Chase Bank, McDonalds, Louis Vuitton, Nissan, Toyota, Keurig, Instant Imprints, Wrigley Gum and other multinational companies.
Edwin FrankO
BluLight Film Director
Edwin FrankO (Edwin Frank Ortiz) is a Latino film director of Puerto Rican and Mexican descent hailing from Barrio Logan of Southeast San Diego. He graduated from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts with an emphasis in directing. FrankO began his artistic journey as a hip hop dancer. Edwin is known for dancing and acting as Angel Gabriel in Teatro Máscara Mágica’s La Pastorela. Though his late father was a salsa musician and dancer, Edwin was self taught, and learned to break dance by studying music videos and films. He eventually delved into acting and studied theatre at Southwestern Community College before switching his major to film. The crossover to film was more so to network with other filmmakers before becoming one himself. His passion and ambition led him to the University of Southern California where he would be the first in his family to not only achieve a B.A. but attend a university. Edwin would love to thank anyone who continues to support his ambition including his mother. He is at where he is today because of their love and support. He wants to continue to guide and inspire his community who haven’t yet discovered the opportunities that arise from following their passions and ambitions.
